Youth welfare

It is worth noting that the institute pays great attention to student activities as a component of the educational process in social work and complementary to it, while the institute is keen that there is no conflict between the educational process and student activities.

Activities and achievements of the Youth Welfare Department

A- Cultural activity:

  1. Obtaining the first three places in the Noble Qur’an competition at the national level, for memorization, recitation and intonation.
  2. Obtaining first place in the competition for wall newspapers at the level of the Republic.
  3. Getting second place in the poetry and zajal competition at the republic level.

B- Sports Activity:

  1. Obtaining the first positions in the combined sports course of the Ministry of Higher Education, which was held at the Institute of Leadership Development in Helwan.
  2. Participation in the combined session of the institutes of the central delta region in Quesna under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and obtaining second place in the games: football, volleyball, basketball and table tennis (boys), and second place in the games: basketball, handball, and volleyball, And table tennis (girls).

C- Artistic Activity:

  1. Obtaining the second place in the art exhibition nationwide.
  2. Forming musical and singing groups from the students of the institute to present some artistic performances during the inauguration of the Students’ Union, as well as forming a theater group of students to participate in the competition at the level of the Republic.

D- Students’ families groups activities:

  1. Getting the second place at the republic level in the Student Families Festival nationwide.

E- Social activity and excursions:

  1. Social competitions were implemented at the institute level such as: –
    ـــ Chess competition.
    ـــ Social topics competition.
    ـــ The ideal student competition and the ideal student.
  2. A ceremony honoring the top students in the academic field was implemented at the level of activities in order to encourage students to continue to excel in studies and to urge them to practice all student activities and also to urge outstanding students in activities to excel more.
  3. 3. Organizing various trips throughout the academic year (Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Alexandria, Dream Park, Magic Land) with the aim of strengthening the relationship between students and institute teaching members, entertaining and visiting distinguished tourist places in our dear homeland.

F – Mobile activity and public service:
Obtaining the first place at the republic level in the Leaders Preparation Camp in Helwan (Scout Camp in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019).
